Welcome to AWW's Trivia Team OFFICIAL web site. The purpose of this web is to allow other trivia teams to get to know the WhaleWatch, and to allow team members to keep in touch. We've provided a number of resources here to help you keep in touch and Please, continue taking notes.
The Amherst Whale Watch Trivia Team is a long time participant in the World's Largest Trivia Contest played in April of each year since 1969 from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point campus radio station WWSP, or check the latest info from the OZ at his Trivia Contest Home Page.
Our team plays from Amherst WI, which is located 15 minutes from Stevens Point.The contest is one crazy weekend, starting on Friday at 6PM and lasting non-stop through Sunday at Midnight. During this time, 8 questions per hour are aired over WWSP. After each question is asked, you have two songs to phone in your answer to the trivia question. The answer is read over the radio station after the end of the second song and "phones down" is announced.
